2/24/21 NEWS RELEASE announcing the move to vaccinating workers in several categories including education, food service, child care, agriculture and emergency services.

The outreach to food service workers should be coming via email to food service businesses who are licensed through County Environmental Health Services.  Food service businesses will then be able to connect their employees with opportunities to be vaccinated.

    Vaccine Appointment Options and Process

JANUARY 15th, 2021:  The county is preparing to transition to Phase 1B of the COVID-19 vaccination framework later this month.  You can find the framework here:  https://coronavirus.marinhhs.org/vaccine/distribution

The first tier of Phase 1B includes individuals 65 and older as well as individuals working in the following fields:

    - Education

    - Childcare

    - Food and Agriculture workers

    - Emergency Services

The county will be using the Environmental Health Services email list for businesses that are licensed for food service by the county and will be sending out a notice to all of those businesses in the next week or two with information about how the vaccination process will work and how they can get their employees vaccinated.  The county will be employing a similar method to reach out to agricultural businesses, but working through a list of businesses managed by the county’s Ag Commissioner and Cooperative Extension Service.
