Rustic Bakery has been serving quality handmade baked goods since 2005.
Carol LeValley & Josh Harris started Rustic Bakery on a whim in 2005. The couple found their passion for baking in a simple sourdough flatbread cracker that Carol would whip up for friends. They stopped at the San Francisco Ferry Building outlet of Cowgirl Creamery, and mentioned to owners Sue Conley and Peggy Smith that the cheeses deserved artisan crackers. The Cowgirls bit, literally, into a sourdough flatbread and immediately placed an order for 50 cases.
The business has grown to four cafés and a wholesale division with 28 products. Carol and Josh can still remember sitting at the kitchen table, and seeing their first tray of crackers come out of the oven. It was such a thrill.

Via Piccola Trattoria was founded by Pedro Ulloa in early 2020. After 30 years of building a strong foundation in the restaurant business, Pedro decided to begin a new chapter.
The focus of that chapter is Via Piccola Trattoria.
Pedro came to the United States in 1984 in search of better opportunities. His restaurant career began at the age of eighteen as a dishwasher at Luca Restaurante in Mill Valley. Watching the restaurant’s movement and business, Pedro found his passion. In 1987, he became a chef at Cafe Ristorante Italia in San Rafael. Pedro expanded his experience by becoming a manager at Cafe Arrivederci in San Rafael. In 1995, he became a junior partner at Cafe Arrivederci and managed the restaurant until the end of 2019.
